Developed across the La Pinta and Da Gama estates in coastal Langebaan, this series of residential prototypes explores adaptable estate living through a modular architectural language. While unified by a shared design logic that is rooted in the context and including elements such as double-pitched roofs, generous north-facing verandas, and open-plan interiors. La Pinta embraces a more expressive architectural expression, while Da Gama adopts a quieter, more restrained approach. Balancing traditional Cape vernacular with contemporary spatial needs, the prototypes offer practical, characterful homes that engage thoughtfully with environment, scale, and setting. From compact single-storey layouts to soaring trussed volumes, the series reflects a cohesive yet varied approach to modern estate living.
